Barber Pole — Alpaca Llama Blend Worsted Weight Yarn
Barber Pole is a celebration of the animals who call Fehrenbach Farms home — a 3-ply worsted weight yarn spun from 56% alpaca and 44% llama, each colorway sourced from named animals on our farm.
The black comes from Starr of Wonder, our llama. The white is from Roxanne, our alpaca. And the red is a beautiful blend of Merengue (alpaca), Rocko (llama), and Jane (alpaca) — three animals whose fleece came together to create this striking colorway.
Each 200-yard skein is a true farm-to-fiber story, with the warmth and halo of alpaca blended with the softness and resilience of llama. Naturally hypoallergenic and incredibly soft, this is a yarn as unique as the animals it came from.
