Vesuvius is a suri alpaca born right here on our farm — and he holds a very special place in our hearts. He became the show companion of our daughter, and together they earned multiple championship titles in the show ring. His personality is as big as his fleece is beautiful.

Suri alpaca is prized for its extraordinary silky luster and dramatic drape — quite different from the fluffy softness of huacaya. Blended with merino for just the right amount of elasticity and structure, this light worsted yarn is a true luxury to work with. The pink colorway adds a warm, feminine touch to an already stunning fiber.
